Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiation Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Radiation Therapist (Allied) Location: Watertown, NY Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Pay Rate: $85/hour | Weekly Gross: $3,400 Job Overview: We are currently hiring a skilled Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in an oncology department. This is a daytime role with no weekend or on-call requirements. Candidates must be fully licensed in New York and possess relevant experience in radiologic/imaging services. Responsibilities: - Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients - Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively - Monitor patient conditions and provide compassionate care - Maintain accurate treatment records and comply with all regulatory standards - Collaborate with oncology team members to ensure optimal treatment outcomes Qualifications:/n/nActive New York State Radiation Therapy License (required)/nRegistered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists/nCurrent BCLS certification/nGraduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program/nAt least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience (preferred: background in radiology)/nStrong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology/nCompliant with all state and federal licensure and registry requirements About VBeyond Corporation VBeyond Healthcare is a subsidiary of VBeyond Corporation, which was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in the United States.
