Job Description Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR
- Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room -
Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Operating Room Registered
Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Assignment Location: Watertown, NY Facility
Size: 168 beds (4 units) Assignment Duration: 13 or 26 weeks Start
Date: ASAP or July Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
Schedule Requirements: Weekends, holidays, and on-call (30-minute
response time) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Distance
Requirement: Must reside 60 miles from facility (radius rule)
Position Requirements: - Education: Graduate from an accredited
School of Nursing - Licensure: Active NYS RN license (or eligible
for NY licensure) - Certifications: - BLS – Required (or within 3
months of hire) - ACLS – Preferred - Experience: - Minimum 1 year
of medical/surgical experience preferred - OR RN experience
preferred; those without recent OR experience must complete and
pass the AORN Perioperative 101 Program within 6 months (final exam
mandatory for employment) - Preceptorship, charge, and leadership
experience preferred - Skills: - Ability to assess and provide
comprehensive patient care (clinical, teaching, mental, spiritual)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and delegation abilities -
Excellent communication and organizational skills - Knowledge of
aseptic technique and OR/ASU clinical equipment - Ability to
