Job Description:

*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings such as skilled nursing facilities, home health, early intervention, and pediatrics.*#PN1**Responsibilities** Conduct patient assessments to determine their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.* Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges in the adult hospital and acute rehabilitation unit (IRF) based patient.* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.* Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for achieving optimal functional outcomes.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans.* Responsible to float between Samaritan Medical Center and Samaritan Keep Home*Requirements** BLS* Licensed as OT in state of NY* 1 year of previous experience strongly preferred.*Benefits:** $10k Sign on Bonus (2 year work commitment) or multi-year loan forgiveness up to 4 years with 15k per year.* 401k with match* Eligible for full benefits 1 st of the month following 30 days of employment* 24 days of PTO in first year* Long term disability and life insurance availableJob Type: Full-timePay: $31.52 - $52.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Health insurance* Referral programSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shift* Night shiftWork Location: In personby Jobble
