  • CVICU RN
  • Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
  • 12-hour nights
  • 36 hours
  • OT after 48
  • 16 beds on unit
  • RN ratio - 1:2
  • Adult patient population
  • Common patient diagnosis: Cardiac procedures, cardiac and thoracic surgeries, IABP, Impella, transvenous pacers, CRRT, paralytics, sepsis, multi system organ failure, chronic ventilators, occasional ECMO
  • Common drips/medications: levophed, all cardiac medications
  • EPIC CHARTING
    • Job Requirements
    • NY license in hand required
    • BLS, ACLS
    • 1+ years exp required
      • Schedule Information
      • Every third weekend required
      • Staff may be required to float within scope between the WMC and BGH campuses when determined by UHS Leadership.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • FLOATING: may be asked to float to ICU, Telemetry, ED, other MST units as needed
