United Health Services Orthopedics is focused on recruiting
specialized surgeons for growth and succession planning and has an
excellent opportunity for a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Hand
Surgeon. This practice has a regional referral base as well as a
large, established primary care team within our system to support
our specialists. The practice is currently comprised of 2 total
joint surgeons who specialize total shoulder replacement and in
knee and hip, a hand surgeon, 2 sports medicine surgeons, a
fellowship trained trauma surgeon, 2 non-op sports medicine
physicians and 2 physiatrists. United Health Services Orthopedics
is very supportive of the use of APPS to enhance patient care and
has outstanding clinical and administrative support staff to
maximize the day-to-day operations of the office. Located in a new
state of the art facility with a large Physical Therapy practice
with a robust Hand Therapy program as well as Podiatry,
Chiropractic and Rheumatology, allowing for a multi-disciplinary
approach for treating patients.
There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students
from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, involvement in the
education of the United Health Services sports medicine fellow, as
well as the ability to participate in clinical research.
