Seeking a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) to act as surgical first assist and cover first call equally with the other three APPs. The surgical NP will assist the surgeons in the treatment and diagnosis of patients, providing both preoperative and postoperative care, which may include taking medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering lab tests, prescribing medication and assisting the surgeons during OR procedures.
