  The role of the Nurse Manager of Endoscopy is to provide leadership, guidance, supervision and support to the team providing gastrointestinal endoscopy services.
  Direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles as needed.
  Manager will participate in and oversee the team that schedules and prepares patients for procedures in close collaboration with the anesthesia and physician care team.
  Supervision may be exercised over RN's, LPN's, Endoscopy Technicians, and unit Patient Care Assistants.
  Nurse Manager role is a patient/client advocate responsible for assisting patients/families navigate the complex health care system in an organized, effective and efficient manner.
  Responsible for assuring customer/patient service needs are met.
