The Work Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Hardware Design / System Engineer to join our Mission Systems team. In this senior role, you will play a key part in the development of Advanced Processing systems and subsystems, supporting all aspects of hardware development from requirements derivation through product integration. You’ll lead efforts to ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work, ensuring that project deliverables meet cost and schedule commitments. You will also utilize Digital Transformation practices, including model-based engineering, test automation, and Agile development, to define product capabilities and drive innovation. Key responsibilities include: Supporting overall organizational process compliance, including management of the Hardware Development Process Implementation. Leading product development activities and providing technical guidance. Ensuring the technical integrity and completeness of deliverables. Managing customer interfaces and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Leveraging Digital Transformation tools to enhance development processes. Please note; This position is located in Owego, NY. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level. MSetech Basic Qualifications •Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or System Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. • Experience with designing / developing / integrating advanced processing systems • Experience with process reviews, audits and compliance • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to at least the Secret level. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
