Transportation Project Manager to lead highway and bridge design
projects across a range of transportation and civil engineering
initiatives, from concept through delivery. This role is ideal for
a seasoned professional with expertise in transportation
engineering, civil infrastructure, and project management who
thrives in a leadership role and enjoys managing complex projects.
In this position, you’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams,
coordinate with clients and agencies, and deliver safe, efficient,
and innovative infrastructure solutions. Whether you are a licensed
Professional Engineer (PE) or an EIT pursuing licensure, you’ll

communities and improve lives. What You’ll Do as a Senior
Transportation Project Manager Successfully lead mid-to-large-scale
transportation projects from initial setup through planning, safety
analysis, and project kick-off. Manage project budgets, scope,
schedule, and staffing to ensure successful and timely project
delivery. Lead design strategy and collaborate with teams, clients,
partners, and stakeholders to align with client goals and ensure
seamless project delivery. Oversee project billing, client updates,
QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout. Provide clear
direction, motivation, and mentorship to team members. Prepare
winning project proposals and serve as primary client contact
throughout the process. Support new business development efforts in
collaboration with the Client Services team by delivering
exceptional service, promoting Fisher’s capabilities, and building
lasting client relationships. Successfully navigate and implement
complex public processes and municipal approvals. Represent Fisher
Associates in professional organizations, business boards, and
community activities. Maintain knowledge of design software for
effective team collaboration. Requirements: What You Bring, Your
Expertise as a Senior Transportation Project Manager B.S. degree in
Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) 10 years in civil
transportation engineering, including project management of
DOT-funded highway and bridge projects Professional Engineering
License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it Demonstrated success
in developing trusted, long-term client relationships Proficiency
in MS Office; MicroStation preferred Familiarity with NYDOT or
PennDOT design standards preferred Professional performance
