We have an opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for clients in the public and private sectors. The position could be based our Wilkes-Barre, Olyphant, Hazleton offices. Because our employees are usually involved in several projects at one time, involving numerous team members (such as project manager, engineer, and CAD technician/designer), exceptional communications skills and the ability to work well with others is essential. Our ideal candidate will be a Professional (Civil) Engineer with at least five years’ experience in the design and management of land development projects. They should have experience in a project management role including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete land development projects. Responsibilities: - Design of subdivisions and land development - Zoning and approvals process - Stormwater management - Site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans - Site utilities - PennDOT/DEP permitting - Hydraulic calculations - Cost estimating - Preparing project proposals and managing contracts, reports, and invoicing - Hiring/mentoring/managing junior engineers and designers - B.S. Civil Engineering or related field - Professional Engineer license - Prior land development experience required - Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills - Prior project and client management experience - Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D - Valid driver's license - for travel to client sites/meetings - Ability to attend evening meetings - Ability to obtain clearances (for PA school projects) We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
