Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The
Manufacturing Facilities Technician is responsible for the setup,
testing, adjustment, maintenance, and relocation of manufacturing
machinery and equipment. This role utilizes a combination of
electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and
computer-based systems to support manufacturing operations. The
position follows clearly defined procedures and required strong
communication skills to ensure work is completed safely,
accurately, and efficiently. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to: Perform routine preventative and
corrective maintenance activities. Follow written procedures and
schedules for assigned maintenance tasks. Disconnect, relocate, and
reconnect manufacturing equipment as required. Diagnose and repair
facility- and equipment-related issues using knowledge of
electrical, mechanical, and carpentry disciplines. Support
equipment moves, installations, and facility modifications.
Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to read, understand, and
follow detailed written procedures. Working knowledge of
electrical, mechanical, and general facility systems. Strong
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work
independently on routine tasks with limited supervision. Ability to
implement changes with detailed instruction. Clear verbal and
written communication skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school
diploma or equivalent required. PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is conducted primarily in a manufacturing and
facilities environment and requires frequent standing, walking, and
manual tasks involving fine motor skills and visual acuity. The
role involves lifting materials and equipment weighing up to 10
pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally, with heavier
items moved with assistance. Work may require wearing required
personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety
glasses, and other protective gear as needed. The technician may
work in cleanroom environments requiring specialized attire and may
be exposed to chemicals, varying temperatures, noise levels, and
other typical industrial conditions. Overtime work may be required
based on operational needs. The company is committed to providing
