Architect / Project Manager (Higher Education Focus)
HOLT Architects, located in Ithaca and Syracuse, NY is seeking highly talented, motivated, and team-oriented Architectural Designers and Architects. The Architectural Designer/Architect will be a critical member of the Higher Education Studio and participate in client management, design, production, and also as part of the business development team.
The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Architecture program and be proactive in taking ownership of tasks assigned; be able to meet deadlines; have excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills; and possess a strong desire to excel and advance in a fast-paced, challenging and client-focused environment.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated self-starter. -The role will include leading projects from start to finish including participation in new business development. - -Prefer candidates with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the design of facilities for Higher Education. -He or she is expected to understand and contribute to the process and workflow of an A/E project team and work within established cost budgets and timelines. This position contains the opportunity for significant continued growth within the company. Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, and other digital forms of communication and document organization required. -Experience in interacting with various level government agencies such as SUCF is a plus.
