This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and innovative healthcare environment. /n Schedule: Typical hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday responsibilities. /n Final title and compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, and certifications. /n /n About the Role /n As an Advanced Diagnostic Technologist, you will perform a wide range of imaging procedures with a high level of independence and expertise. This role requires sound judgment, technical skill, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. /n /n Key Responsibilities /n /n - Perform advanced imaging procedures independently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results. /n - Support Clinical Specialists with QA initiatives, regulatory testing, and research activities. /n - Operate specialty equipment (e.g., O.R., Fluoroscopy) and perform electrocardiograms and lab draws as needed. /n - Monitor and maintain quality control standards, adhering to the latest imaging protocols. /n - Provide coverage for off-shifts, on-call duties, and satellite locations while maintaining clear communication with leadership. /n - Collaborate with Radiologists on protocol development and imaging standards. /n - Participate in system-wide standardization efforts and workgroups. /n - Mentor and train new staff and student technologists. /n /n /n What We’re Looking For /n We’re seeking candidates who demonstrate: /n /n - Strong technical proficiency and independent decision-making. /n - Commitment to patient safety and quality care. /n - Flexibility to adapt to various shifts and locations. /n - A collaborative spirit and willingness to support team development. /n /n /n Why UPMC Williamsport? /n /n - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus /n - Supportive team environment /n - Opportunities for professional growth and development /n - Access to cutting-edge imaging technology /n - Comprehensive benefits package /n /n /n Ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology. /n 2 years Diagnostic experience required for the advanced tech level. /n Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
