Job Description:
The Financial Operations Associate will be responsible for
financial, accounting and administrative duties in the Athletics
Department. Knowledge of accounting, internal control systems, best
business practices and administrative experience is highly
recommended.Duties include processing travel, purchasing and
revenue transactions. Other responsibilities include financial,
accounting and administrative duties within the Financial
Operations unit in the Intercollegiate Athletics
department.Examples of duties include -processing revenue and
expense transactions, reconciliations, computerized business
systems, financial reporting, continuous development and
streamlining of business processes, development and compliance of
internal control policies, procedures and best business practices
and other related administrative responsibilities. All
responsibilities require a high degree of accuracy and attention to
detail. These responsibilities require the ability to work
independently as well as part of a team, strong organizational
skills, the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced business
environment with a high volume of transactions, the ability to
communicate well and document policies and procedures in a clear,
logical manner internally and externally and the ability to
supervise students.
