Behavioral Health Professional Supervisor - Send resume and

- Education/Experience
- Master's Degree in Human Services field required
- NYS Licensure/ LCSW-R Certification Required
- Five years' experience working in Behavioral Health Skills
- Knowledge of mental illness diagnoses
- Knowledge of Dual Disorders
- Ability to work with the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team
- Familiar with community agencies and resources
- Good organizational, diagnostic, and assessment skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Leadership abilities with strong supervisory skills
- Familiar with computer programs (e.g. Word, Excel, EHR)
- The ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and
lift items weighting up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to legally operate a vehicle in NYS RESPONSIBLE TO:
Manager MAJOR FUNCTIONS
- Primary Duties
- Provide clinical supervision
- Provide clinical leadership in team meetings and in developing
support services
- Provide services that may include family, marital, individual
and/or group psychotherapy
- Participate as requested on related human service committees or
councils
- Prepare reports as required by regulation
- Responsible for case record maintenance and other data in
accordance with program policy and requirements
- Conduct Care Plan Meetings with all relevant providers
- Participate in provision of service by completion of all
required assessments
- Act as resource/consultant for team members
- Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, may be
required to participate in after hours on call rotation or provide
back-up
- Review all team related incidents
- Maintain records according to applicable standards and
regulations
- Understand and follow all program policies and procedures
- Represent the agency and program in the community and with
other service providers
- Participate in and successfully complete all required staff
training and development activities
- Perform other related tasks as directed by supervisor

but are not limited to the above.
